Floods

Rainey, who lives in a mighty water oak that sits beside the mighty Mississippi River, is constantly on the alert for floods: small floods, big floods, flash floods…if it’s rising water, she’s got her eye on it. This rainy-day raccoon is also an expert on what to do when floods are approaching. First step, if possible: move to higher ground. Second, watch out for that floodwater! There’s some bad stuff in there that might just reach out and bite you—and that’s not good at all.
