One last thing on being as #DisasterProof as possible.

A few last tips:

It’s important to have a fully-stocked disaster supply kit, including things like bottled water, non-perishable food, flashlight(s) with batteries, weather-radio, etc.

You also need to have a home evacuation plan. If disaster strikes in your area, where would you go? What would you do? Who would you contact to let everyone know that you and your family are safe?

Set aside time to practice what to do in an emergency. Practice helps make sure you’re prepared.

And, finally, congrats! If you’ve come this far, you’re now ready for just about any emergency. But keep on your toes. Spread the word. And, above all, stay #DisasterProof.
